They also each have an observation tower which has a nice seat to enjoy the view, and kids (of all ages) love to jump from the top! These vessels provides a smooth and pleasant rides in all sea conditions which makes it the suggested choice for a trip to the Baths or those looking for extra comfort.

THE CREW

All our Captains on the Big Blue team have one mission ... To give you the best day of your vacation! They all are US Coast guard captains, certified with a 100 ton masters license, first aid and safety training, STCW as well as training in diving, water-sports, fishing ... to name a few.

Our captains love their jobs, are knowledgeable about the area & sea life and are good at what they do. A perfect match to carry on the spirit of fun, professionalism and relaxation we always strive for!

Captain Margie grew up sailing the Caribbean with her parents and three sisters sailing from island to island whenever they weren’t in school.  A true adventurer passionate about sailing, surfing, diving, and snorkeling, it is hard to find Marg…

Captain Margie grew up sailing the Caribbean with her parents and three sisters sailing from island to island whenever they weren’t in school.  A true adventurer passionate about sailing, surfing, diving, and snorkeling, it is hard to find Margie not in the water.  She feels at home on the ocean and loves showing people the beauties of the Virgin Islands above and below the surface.

Captain Sharp is the son of two marine biologists, so he grew up in, on, around and under the water. He is a 100 ton master captain and has spent countless days out on the frothy brine. There is nothing more exciting to him than sharing his love of the ocean with others!

This is us

The Kemps live their lives surrounded by the ocean. A position that has formed their perspective on raising a family, operating a business, even the friendships they maintain are cemented by time on the water. Sharp and Margie’s desire and effort through the years has been to share what they love with other people. This takes many forms and has led to both a life and a career of messing around with boats. They are raising 3 children in the Virgin Islands. Flip, Thomas and Lily Todd are already playing in the ocean and learning about the importance of protecting this amazing resource.
